This pretty wooden house with rich carvings comes from Cheb's twin town Nizhny Tagil in Russia. It was a gift for the 2006 garden show and has since enriched a colony with small garden plots on the banks of the Eger. For many Czechs, these weekend cottages mean a little happiness after a gray week at work. In the Russian “dacha” there are always guests from the sister city in the Urals. Then the house can be viewed by visitors.
