Large mountain lake with parking lot and adjoining restaurant. As with many other mountain lakes in this region, swimming is prohibited, but fishing is permitted with a fishing license.

This lake is beautifully surrounded by mountains. We were there in mid-March and were asked by the gendarmerie not to hike to Lac Noir because a week earlier someone had to be rescued there by helicopter.
