The via ferrata at Simms Waterfall offers three different routes of varying difficulty, from B/C to C to E/D. A must-do highlight for via ferrata enthusiasts. You can reach the via ferrata by turning left from Café Uta. Route C crosses the waterfall over two rope bridges. You can leave your backpacks under the opposite rock face, and a short test via ferrata route is available if you wish. Highly recommended!

Quick to reach, always a refreshing spray on hot days. Short routes, at least the easy loop (B / C) not too long for children either. The eagle route is rated D / E.

A truly excellent via ferrata in a magnificent setting (above the waterfall) 👍

The various routes are rated B/C, C, and D/E, although I would have rated the elements about half as difficult. I like the via ferrata and don't find it that difficult; that could also be due to the tightly taut ropes and the grippy rock! But everyone has their own preferences and assessments, and in wet conditions, it's certainly a different story!

It's best to do the B/C circuit first, and then, if you still have the energy and desire, you can add the C or even the D/E elements in a subsequent circuit. That's what I did, although I actually found the long rope bridges the most difficult... The two circuits of B/C + B/C, C, D/E took about 60 minutes.
