The hiking trail leads through several tunnels that were cut into the rock by the mountain farmers to open up their alpine pastures. A flashlight is helpful, but not essential, as the tunnels are not particularly long.

Fascinating tunnel path with great views. A flashlight can be helpful but is not a must. Also goes well without. The food on the Sulzalm is delicious and inexpensive.
