Best Hikes to St. Anthony's Chapel

Tips

  • About 150 years ago, pious citizens of Kappel made a pilgrimage to the Antoniuswald forest to see a small statue of Antonius that stood in a hollowed-out tree. The first small Antonius chapel was built on this spot in 1884 by wealthy citizens and Alsatians.
