The absolute highlight of the viaduct and gorge tour is the breakthrough of the Haslach at Rechenfelsen; wild and romantic pure nature. However, you have to earn this highlight; The Haslach Gorge can only be reached via narrow mountain paths between the Höllochfelsen and the confluence with the Gutach, which then flows into the Rhine as the Wutach after 91 km. (Surefootedness, a head for heights and sturdy hiking shoes are required; hiking poles are helpful).
So, put on your hiking boots and get out into nature.
