Over 300,000,000 (300 million) years old rocks look out on this old, abandoned quarry, an impressive geological testimony from ancient times. The granites were formerly used for track and road construction, today the quarry is a museum and part of the ant trail.

The red granite was once mined here. I actually thought that there was no more work here - I was a little surprised about the small excavator.
