The 48 rope-guided boats with bright yellow roofs are known by the sonorous name "Gondolettas". From spring to late summer, they glide over the Kutzerweiher pond in the Luisenpark on a circuit that is almost two kilometers long, weather permitting. The nine-seater gondolas are attached to an underwater cable with a slip coupling, so each individual boat is constantly in motion – without having to move yourself! If you don't want to do the whole tour of around 50 minutes at 1,840 meters, you also have the option of half a tour of around 25 minutes: you can get on and off at any time at the two landing stages at the telecommunications tower and at the new center of the park.
