It was named after Mike O'Callaghan, governor of Nevada 1971-1979, and Pat Tillman, a football player who left the Arizona Cardinals to join the US Army. He was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan in 2004.

There are enough free parking spaces, of course you have to walk a bit. But the view makes up for everything.
The Hoover Dam is still a must-see and a must-see when visiting Las Vegas. About an hour from Las Vegas, it's easy to get there to see the dam in all its glory.
