City walls of Jueterbog

Parts of the city wall are still preserved in the northwestern part. In the area of the dam gate there is a piece of wall made of field stones. A semi-circular bastion is located north of the Dammtor. The northwest corner is marked by a round tower. A further section has survived to the north of the monastery. In the section from Wursthof to Zinnaer Tor, the course of the Wall has been almost completely preserved.

On the east side of the Zinna Gate there are only beginnings of the city wall. In the southern part only three towers are preserved today. These are square towers from the 15th century. In the southwest is the longest part of the wall that still exists today.
