The botanical garden on Lienaustraße in Frankfurt (Oder) was planned from 1969 and opened on June 26, 1976 as a plant show garden. The Lienauteich in the center of the park was created as a result of the quarrying of clay for brick production from the 19th century. Around the pond there are trees and grass in the stepped areas, as well as benches to linger. The botanical garden is very well maintained and worth a visit at any time of the year.
