The church has been rebuilt several times. The most comprehensive was probably the conversion of 1729. The church also received its current interior design with the baroque furnishings of the nave. In 1729 the galleries were also installed. The local church did not get its characteristic octagonal (baroque) church tower until around 250 years after the Reformation (1780).
Only the crucifix, which has survived from the pre-Reformation period, is of art-historical value.
