The Fürth weekly market has been located permanently on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße between Fürther Freiheit and Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Anlage since May 18, 2019. It consists of 13 permanent stands and a further number of mobile stands. During the fair, the weekly market on Breitscheid-Strasse will be completely dismantled.

Shortly after the local elections in April 2014, entrepreneur Jochen Schreier presented a plan to the public in which he envisaged a weekly market within the Dr. Konrad-Adenauer-Anlage. The pavilion should be in the center of the new weekly market, with stalls for the weekly market and gastronomy around the pavilion along the outer edge of the green area. For this, Mr. Schreier already protected a title - including the logo - by copyright: "Fürther Schnabuliermarkt". The advance was made on Schreier's own initiative, as he criticized the constant change of weekly market location and was striving for an overall upgrading of the market. However, the project was not only well received by the population. A specially created "Alliance for Inner City Green" consisting of e.g. from Bund Naturschutz, Die Grünen, local residents' initiatives and Wir sind Fürth e. V. protested against these plans. In particular, the initiative had concerns about the compatibility of the tree protection with the planned concept of the Schnabuliermarkt as a weekly market. However, the city administration and city society took Schreier's initiative to upgrade the weekly market as an opportunity to reopen the discussion about the location of the weekly market and its visual and content orientation. The result of this discussion was the establishment of a weekly market in front of the Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Anlage. In addition to the solution favored by the city of Fürth, there was an alternative plan at Bahnhofplatz (project name "Centaurenmarkt") by the Wir sind Fürth association and the former spokesman for the citizens' initiative "A better center for Fürth" Dr. Christofer Hornstein, who envisaged a different way of arranging the sales building on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Strasse.

The new Fürth weekly market opened on May 18, 2019 on the former bus route on Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße, between Fürther Freiheit and Dr.-Konrad-Adenauer-Anlage. Originally the weekly market was right on Fürther Freiheit. At events and the Fürth parish fair, it had to move to the station square. For a short period of time it was also located on the so-called Little Freedom. The stands of the new market are mobile and have to be dismantled for four weeks for the Fürth church fair.
