The Santa Justa Elevator in Lisbon is one of the most prominent tourist attractions. At 45 meters high, it connects the Baixa with the Chiado neighborhood. It was built in 1902 and its neo-Gothic design is inspired by techniques used in other French buildings, such as the Eiffel Tower. Two wood-clad elevators transport travelers to a spacious terrace with views of the river, Rossio Square, Commerce Square and St. George's Castle. For the best photos, visit the terrace of a nearby department store. Enjoy the panoramic views! 🌆
