Today's hike on the Fafleralp started at temperatures just above freezing, because the sun doesn't show up there until after 10:30. In order to be able to enjoy the sun earlier, we chose the round in clockwise direction (more vertical meters from the beginning and earlier sun). The hike is simply fantastic and nature in autumn offers a never-ending fireworks display of impressions, colors and impressions - true to the motto "Pictures say louder than words".

The alpine adventure trail from the Lauchernalp to the Kummenalp is not very demanding and a slight up and down. From the Kummenalp the path then climbs steadily, although the incline was quite pleasant. The first snow also greeted us. So overwhelmed by the landscape, we missed the entrance to the Chritzlihaldenweg at KM 4.9. But we didn't want to go back because a path was marked (rather bad, but it was enough for us). This decision was absolutely correct, as we passed an unimpressed herd of ibex a little later. And we were also able to admire the Lötschbergsee. The path then led us on small detours to the Lötschenpasshütte, where we could quench our thirst and hunger. The path leads through the glacier cut terrain along the Lötschentaler Panoramaweg back to the Lauchernalp

With the Latrejefeld I was able to cross another tour from my bucket list 😀.From Reichenbach it goes straight up to Faltschen without a long drive-in. Then branch off into the Suldtal and drive along a bike and hiking trail to the Suld restaurant on the right side of the valley. Except for a short steep section near Suldweid, the path is pleasant to drive. However, it was extremely wet and the cows tried very hard to get their 💩 straight on the way 😬. The ascent from Suld to Mittelberg is quite flowing, you also drive a lot in the forest and at the beginning on tar. This is followed by the steep ascent on gravel to the Latrejefeld. The serpentines at the beginning are actually a bit reminiscent of the Gotthard. The view on the Latrejefeld is great: Blüemlisalp, Doldenhorn, Aabeberg, Schwalmere ...The descent follows a trail that is not too difficult from my point of view over alpine meadows to Eggmittelberg and from there on gravel paths to the Spyggegrund and into the Kiental. Definitely not the last time that I was on the Latrejefeld 💪👍.
