The cathedral impresses with its late baroque façade: The richly decorated portal is framed by a pair of Solomonic columns that twist in on themselves. In the middle above there is a large, oval window. The central gable is decorated with several spiral shapes (spirals or volutes). On cubic stone bases on both sides there are a total of four turban-like twisted decorative elements. The bell tower (torre siniera) is probably the oldest part of the church. The nave has two pulpits facing each other and is accompanied by several differently designed side chapels. On the side walls of the church there are pictorial representations made of azulejo tiles.

On the outside, however, there are no tiles (!!). The "tip": "completely tiled on the outside with blue tiles" is therefore completely wrong, as is easy to see in the photos!
