Our hike began in Weidenbach. It led over the Vatteröder Stein, Dietzenröder Stein, Stein and Nase back to Weidenbach. A recommended tour, especially in spring, under fresh greenery. The viewpoints on the respective cliffs are particularly noteworthy.

Hiking

The summit of the Stein (just under the 500m altitude mark) is easily overlooked. Only a small wooden sign on a tree points to it.
The mountain is located in the western part of the Eichsfeld district near the state border with Hesse and is one of the northern foothills of the Gobert.
