The five meter high heads by Franz West are bodily heads, figures formed from primeval matter that have something carnivalesque about them. They are made from a type of resin to withstand the harsh sea climate, storms, sand erosion and bright light. The plinth on which his artwork stands has the same colors as the tiles on the terraces.

Hiking

The slightly concave floor surface is covered with concrete blocks in the colors gray, white and blue. Sculptures by Franz West were placed on the pavilions, two huge heads with a height of five meters. West called them "lemur heads," referring to the dead spirits of the ancient Romans. They are made from sustainable plastic.”
