At the southern end of the Georgengarten there have been two temples built by the architect Remy de la Fosse since 1706.
“The corner pavilions designed by the French architect Charles-Louis Remy de la Fosse in the line of the avenue in the Great Garden were once created so that Duke George Ludwig – who later became George I and King of England – could see from his Herrenhausen Palace where the Herrenhausen Gardens ended.”
