What is impressive here is how the motorway meanders its way through the terrain.

Lake Restello (or San Floriano) is one of the three bodies of water present in the Val Lapisina area. These artificial lakes, arranged in succession, are "built" on ancient glacial basins in which lake basins had taken place. The three lakes are located at different altitudes: Dead Lake, further north, at 274 m above sea level; Lake Restello at an altitude of 177 m above sea level and, finally, Lake Negrisiola at an altitude of 160 m above sea level. This difference in altitude allows exploitation for energy purposes, with a process that starts from Lake S. Croce, through underground infiltrations, and ends in the alluvial plain of the Vittoria area.

Lake Restello, in particular, was created by damming the rocky narrows of S. Floriano, and occupies the depression of an old lake reclaimed during the last century. It is fed by the wastewater from the Nove power plant and by springs at the bottom of the valley located in Botteon and Lagusel. The mass of water, used to drive the hydroelectric turbines of the power plant, feeds Lake Negrisiola.

On the banks of this basin stand the tower of San Floriano, the church of the same name and the viaduct of the A27 motorway. The toponym refers to the sanitary blocks, barriers established by the Republic of Venice to prevent the spread of epidemics through traffic control.
