The trail is beautiful in every season. It is partially lined with chestnut trees and offers repeated views of Coburg and, at one point, even the Grosser Gleichberg. This section is no surprise, as it's part of the panoramic trail around Ahorn. It's a perfect alternative for those coming from Schorkendorf toward Hohenstein, where you can enjoy nature. A hiking parking lot is located on the B 303, making it a good starting point for exploring.
