    To the south of the hiking trail that looks like a shortcut, the trail suddenly goes steeply uphill in a north-westerly direction. No problem for hikers and blueberry seekers, for bikers a challenge in terms of shifting and balance, but rideable S1. After the embankment, the path goes horizontally or with a minimal gradient between the blueberry bushes and under the tall pines until just before the road. Pedestrians could reach the street with just a few steps (what for, because there is no path or parking space nearby), bikers would have to lift their bikes down the embankment here. It makes more sense to continue the trail in a right turn away from the road and shortly afterwards even more clearly to the right uphill and in an east-northeast direction. Hikers will hardly perceive the steep section just before the left bend on the hill as steep, cyclists will have to use their gears. Then it goes over a small turn-off to the left under the spruce trees, at the next turn-off right again up to the rocks above the old quarry next to the stables.

    Shortly after rainfall, this path is dry and mud-free much earlier than the main hiking trails directly on the Querkelstein and is therefore a route variant that I like to choose.

      Great trail and easy to ride through the still low bushes;
