Hiking Highlight

The bivouac Zschinstein belongs to the Forststeig.

There is this small miniature hut, a compost toilet, a rainwater collection container with hot water and a table with bench. You have to bring your own drinking water. It is recommended to buy a water filter in the outdoor shop for the hike, otherwise it will be difficult with the drinking water supply on the Forststeig.

To be allowed to stay here, you will get a trekking ticket worth 5 Euro in advance. These tickets are valid for two years. To use it, fill in the date, throw one half on the spot in the ticket mailbox and the other half is ready to show.

If the hut is busy, tents may be placed around.

We stayed here in the tent. The lawn is mowed. The place is nice, there is a toilet with toilet paper and a bench with a table. Unfortunately, the rain barrel had no water the next day although it had rained heavily. It was synonymous without ;-)
