Tips
This (former) water tower on the outskirts of the village of Brenig is one of the stations on the "Bornheimer Quellenweg", which the Bornheim homeland and Eifel association redesigned and created in 2022.

The water tower, together with the pump house on the Rücksbroich, used to supply water to the people of Brenig.
It was built in 1908/09 at the highest point in the town of Bernig.
The water was pumped from the pump house into the tower tank.
Then it ran with sufficient pressure in a free gradient into the house connection lines.
