The former Royal Convent of Santo Domingo was a Spanish Dominican convent in the city of Jaén, whose monumental building is currently the seat of the Provincial Historical Archive of Jaén.

It was founded in 1382 on the old Moorish palace of the governor of the Cora de Yayyán that King Juan I ceded to the Dominicans, who created the College of Santo Domingo. Since 1990 the building has been the headquarters of the Provincial Historical Archive.

Currently the headquarters of the Historical Archive of Jaén, it was run by the religious community of the Dominicans and later remodeled to house the city's Men's Hospice.
