The churchyard of St. Nikolai is completely hidden. Small, pretty houses line the courtyard, the east side of which is bordered by a school building worth seeing. The narrow building served both as a sexton's house and as a Latin school and dates from the 14th century. The north gable is particularly striking to look at.

The historic building with the postal address "Auf dem Sankt Nikolaikirchhof 1/2"
is a listed building in Stralsund, southeast of St. Nikolai Church.
The two-storey brick building with a gable was built around the middle of the 14th century.
The facade of the elongated, narrow building has a glazed quatrefoil frieze on the northern narrow side facing Semlower Strasse.
Above this is the pillar gable with pointed arches crowned with eyelets.
The building has an adjacent brick wall facing Bechermacherstrasse.
The house is located in the core area of the urban area of the "Historic Old Towns of Stralsund and Wismar" cultural asset, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The house initially served as a sexton's house, but also as a Latin school.de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auf_dem_Sankt_Nikolaikirchhof_1/2_(Stralsund)
