Hiking
The nine-meter-high obelisk is crowned by a Victoria; at its feet is a resting lion. The obelisk features a medallion-shaped bust and coat of arms of Mayor Johann Andreas von Liebenberg. The monument, made by Johann Silbernagel (figures made of bronze, everything else made of stone, commissioned on March 17, 1887), was unveiled on September 12, 1890 (in conjunction with the Turkish Liberation Monument in St. Stephen's Cathedral). By December 1949, it had been restored after being damaged in the Second World War.
