Beautiful baroque church with an impressive dome in the center not far from the moat. The church is cared for by priests of Opus Dei. The services are well attended (weekdays 11.00 am, 12.30 pm and 5.00 pm) with the possibility of confession in the mornings and afternoons. Frequent church concerts in the evening.

Hiking

The first St. Peter's Church, from which there are no visible remains today, goes back to late antiquity and is thus the oldest church and parish in the city of Vienna. It was built in the second half of the 4th century, when a barracks building of the Roman camp Vindobona was converted into a basilica-type single-nave hall church. Further renovations followed, the building was later Gothicized, where the nave was divided into three unequaled ships. The tower was rectangular and dreosgeschoßig, at the corners were Fialtürme, which were surmounted by a central, higher tower with cross.
