Tips
The town hall square is named after the (new) town hall that was built here between 1872 and 1883. A large part of the square is occupied by the town hall park; the central axis between the town hall and the Burgtheater remained free and was a road for a long time. Several monuments to politicians have been erected in the park or on its edge.

The Christmas market is a highlight, but also very well attended. You should also visit the ice skating rink.

Great in winter with the large Christmas market with lots of lights. In the summer there are always festivals around the summer cinema.
