Hiking

Striking, relatively large stone cross on the former "Kirchsteig". between Rosenthal and Stauf. As explained on a sign, there are several legends about the history of this cross - sometimes more and sometimes less bloodthirsty.

Mountain biking

The Kessler Cross, also known as the Kessel Cross, stands on a particular rise or fall, depending on the direction of hiking or driving, on the old connecting path between Stauf and the Cistercian monastery in Rosenthal. The ruins of the monastery are still very well preserved.
