Water was drawn from a drilled well located next to the tower. The tower tank was used until around 1980 (the pipeline was damaged during the introduction of electric traction at the station).
The tower has a brick core based on a regular octagon. A metal, riveted, Intze type tank with a capacity of 50 m3. The tank's protective wall is made of a wooden frame structure, filled with brick and plastered. The octagonal roof is covered with tiles, with a decorative metal spike visible at the top.
