Wanderung auf dem Skyline track am Whakapapa
Tolle Tour mit der Gondel hoch und dann auf dem Skyline track zur Aussichtskante. Unbedingt Komot einschalten, da die offiziellen Routenmarkierungen oft fehlen und der gerade Weg nach oben nicht der Richtige ist. ;)

Von Ohakune über die Old Coach Road zum Hapuawhenua Viaduct
Prima Wanderung auf gut ausgebauten Wegen mit vielen tollen Hinweistafeln durch dichten Urwald zum neuen und alten Hapuawhenua Viaduct. Absolut sehenswert.

Whakapipi Lookout – Te Aroha Gipfelaussichtspunkt Runde von Te Aroha
Komot totally failed. It took us 10h. Would be good Komot could realize that 30% uphill grade takes a bit longer than on flats.
