Borne Sulinowo - radziecka kolonia w Polsce w latach 1945 - 1992, w tym okresie miasto było wyłączone spod administracji polskiej. Na początku 1945 miejscowość zajęła Armia Czerwona. Dojazd z Sikor trasą grawelową do okolic Chlebowa, po przejechaniu ścieżką z Chlebowa do Złocieńca dalszy ciąg trasy grawelowo - asfaltowy zupełnie pustymi drogami do Czaplinka.
