The Brompton-Mauerweg bike tour La Superbe was actually on the calendar today. Covid-19, a guilty conscience for the dissertation and moderate weather made it a small round to end the weekend.A trip to the south of Berlin had been on my list for a long time. The big round over Blankensee and Trebbin was no longer manageable, but it is also worth it. The tour leads through quiet side streets, smaller country-lined country roads and also alongside cycle paths. There was little traffic on Sunday evening, so the few cars didn't bother us. All the more the beautiful trees, the small villages and the individual lakes came into their own.And finally I found out that the gray Ludwigsfelde can be interesting if you want to understand the history of the 20th century. The place grew up under the Nazi era with the founding of the Daimler aircraft engine factories. Accordingly, a contemporary housing estate has been set up here. The rather large wooden house settlement was built in an emergency towards the end of the war. And around Heinrich-Heine-Platz you can see the GDR expansion program. And the now rather neglected place shows that you can fail to plan places and keep them alive.Just as striking: in almost every village, people are begging for speed 30. But it is not ordered. This shows once again how urgent it is to generally reduce the speed to 30 km.

Not only is there no god, try to find gas stations and Spätis C2032 batteries. But more on that later.Today I came out late so that only a small round remained, which was shortened in between and ended prematurely. It went from Frohnau and its very respectable center north to Brandenburg through the disability settlement. I drove this route last year on my Brompton-Berlin-Baltic Sea tour, but now the weather and the green were more beautiful. I saved myself the dangle over Birkenwerder, but I wanted to take the black path through nature with me. Unfortunately, there is already significant asphalt damage here. Then it goes along the Havel through beautiful countryside on the Berlin-Copenhagen bike path to a detour through Siemensstadt. Originally I wanted to continue up to and through the Havelchaussee, but in between I noticed that my speed sensor failed. There were no replacement batteries in the gas stations visited, or at the Spandau train station. There was a consolation Florida ice cream there. Good as well.
