Gödesdorf prayer bell from 1707 + monument to the victims of WW I / WW IIInfo from the web:The prayer bell was cast in 1707 on behalf of all residents and hung in a free-standing wooden frame. She rang the bell for prayer three times a day. After fires broke out, it took on the important function of alerting people to the extinguishing work. Even today, the ten-minute bell rings for every deceased inhabitant of Gödestorf.

Bell towers of this type were built in many places, mostly without their own church. Another can be found in Wachendorf or in Bramstedt (Bassum).
A memorial to the victims of the world wars from the respective village can also be found in almost everywhere.
