In the 15th century, a pentagonal, Gothic prayer column was erected in front of the main portal, which was covered with colored stones and bore depictions of Mary and saints. The 6.5 meter high column originally stood here. However, later, when the landscape park was laid out, it was moved to an artificial hill in the eastern part of the monastery, where it still stands today.
