The predecessor of this beautiful church dates from around 1200 and at the beginning of the 15th century the pilgrimage church of St. Adolari was expanded in its current form. The sacristy was added around 1684. The interior with the largest Gothic Marien cycle in North Tyrol is particularly worth seeing. It's worth taking a look and you can also stop at the Adolari inn.

The pilgrimage church of St. Adolari is located at the northern tip of the Pillersee. Saint Adolari is considered the patron saint of cattle, an important companion in a predominantly rural area. The foundations of the pilgrimage church date back to the year 1200. A very special cultural sight of sacred art can be admired here: the exposed painting of the net rib vault shows the largest Gothic Marian cycle in North Tyrol.
