Today we went with the hiking friends in pleasant temperatures by train to Bad Münster am Stein and further through the Salinental...Roseninsel and via the Panoramaweg to Bad Kreuznach. Here we treated ourselves to a thick ice cream before taking the train home again

With the 9€ ticket to Koblenz and to see the traveling exhibition of everyday people by Christel Lechner, which runs until July 5th. We were totally thrilled...not to forget the electoral palace, the Deutsches Eck and the beautiful Rhine and Moselle promenades. The St. Castor Basilica and the flower

With the almost empty train to Saarbrücken. Beautifully along the Saar... through the shady forest 🌳 and later through the mystical Grumbachtal. Here the light rain caught up with us and accompanied us to the Niederwürzbacher Weiher. From here we continued via Lautzkirchen to Homburg. Train on time

...and again a wonderful and varied bike tour with the 9 € ticket. No stress at all with crowded trains.

From Waldfischbach back on the beautiful bike path to Steinalben-Linden-Queidersbach and through the Schweinstal. From here I would rather take the way back via the Gelterswoog. We preferred the faster road this time as we got the shingles shot that morning...and we didn't want to overdo it. We were

Used the €9 ticket for hiking today. The starting point was the Pirmasens Nord train station..very neglected..and there are no possibilities for bicycles..except to carry them up and down the long stairs.

Today's destination was the Steinen Castle, the shady Rieslocher Klamm and the Saufels.

Despite the heat, we rode the rest of the Glan cycle path to Lauterecken today. We already started in Glan Münchweiler because the stork station slipped through our fingers yesterday. Due to the wind plus headwind, the heat was bearable.. by the way, the trains were almost empty again.. apparently nobody

Today we braved the heat... by train to Bruchmühlbach and from there on mostly shady paths along the Glan to Kusel. From there we got a continuous and almost empty train back to Kaiserslautern. Since we were a bit limited in time today, we skipped the stork station near Glan Münchweiler

With the 9€ ticket in the almost empty train to Hauptstuhl and over the Kranichwoog with its Carpathian water buffalo to Steinwende and Seewoog. Back home via Rodenbach and the garden show. A very nice, quiet tour through forests, meadows and fields... of course, the Seewoog should not be forgotten.

Only one hiking friend approached the hardships? to go to the Luisenpark with us, although the heat was very bearable here under the many large trees. 🚂 and tram no problem, although the forecourt of the train station is a big construction site. Some paths are also closed in the Luisenpark, as preparations
