From the summit of the Schafelberg you have a wonderful view of the Pillerseetal and the Loferer as well as the Leoganger Steinberge. At 1,597 meters there is a wooden summit cross and the summit of the somewhat higher Kirchberg is not far away. At the foot of the Schafelberg, the Pillersee is waiting to cool off.

Hiking
Great hike up to this peak with amazing views at the top. A lot of the trail is forested so great on a hot day, plus you can always cool off in the lake at the bottom.
