Cala Sisine is located at the end of a codula, essentially a canyon. In the past, it served as the bed of a river, but now it represents the mouth of a small stream that originates on the Golgo plateau in the Baunei supramonte.
About 200 meters wide, Cala Sisine is framed by the sheer cliffs of the Overa greenhouse, which rise to over 500 meters above sea level. It is almost hugged by rocky headlands, while the gorge itself is adorned with ancient carob and holm oak trees.
The waters show off changing turquoise shades thanks to the play of light that is reflected in them. The seabed is composed of sand of light limestone pebbles and rounded stones.
