About Björn von bergparadiese.de

Everyone who has ever driven over the Gaichtpass into the Tannheimer Valley knows the Adlerhorst. Well visible, in the forest above the Haldensee, the excursion restaurant is enthroned above the valley. Easy hiking trails lead up here from Haller am Haldensee. In winter you can also whiz down into the valley on a toboggan. If you set off to the Adlerhorst by bike, you should start in Grän.

Sorgschrofen and Zinken are two rugged and partly exposed neighboring peaks that grow up from the Unterjoch and Jungholz from the Steiner Berg. Although both peaks only rise 1,600 meters above sea level, crossing them is reserved for experienced mountaineers with a head for heights. This mountain bike tour leads around the two distinctive summit destinations and is definitely gentler than its namesake

Krinnenalpe, Edenalpe and Gräner Ödenalpe. If you have the choice, you are spoiled for choice. Or you can opt for all three refreshment stops. Either way, you first have to cover 660 meters in altitude to the highest point of the tour in order to enjoy all three Alps. The starting point is the valley station of the Krinnen lift. The double chairlift brings skiers in winter and hikers in summer to 1,510 meters above sea level to the nearby Krinnenalpe. The first or last stop. Depending on how you divide the sections of the MTB tour.

Whether you choose Zöblen or Schattwald as the starting point for this mountain bike tour, as indicated on the map, is up to you. In any case, I recommend going clockwise. This means you have the steeper ramps in the driveway, but the descent on the fixed road towards Schattwald is definitely more pleasant. As a reward for the 360 meters long ascent, the wonderful view from the Stuiben Sennalpe to the Tannheimer mountains awaits you on this mountain bike tour.

Most of the routes through the Tannheimer Tal natural bike region lead over wide forest and farm roads, which hikers also like to use. This is also the case on this tour, because the first part leads up towards Einstein. A popular summit destination above Tannheim-Berg.But while most hikers take a path in the Diretissima, the signposted ascent for mountain bikers leads up the serpentines of the wide driveway.

In the cards issued by the Tannheimer Tal, the main town of the valley is the starting point for this 2-lake tour.Alternatively, you can of course also get on in Grän and follow the well-signposted route. I personally recommend starting in Zöblen. Two more highlights await at the end of this wonderful round.

On the Mühlwald-Trails near Zöblen in the Tannheimer Tal, trail fans can not let off steam and beginners can get a taste of the downhill fun. There are three different exercise routes to choose from. Each of them is about 500 meters long. And they are divided into different levels of difficulty.
