Nice path over the rocks between the Eiken. It gives you an Alpine feeling.

A highlight from the category "The way is the goal":
The mountain path over the Knoppen runs through a light mountain forest with gnarled oaks.
Although there are only at one point beautiful views of the Ahr valley and the summit cross there is no longer - an experience is the narrow mountain path but still.
Another advantage is that the path is not as heavily frequented as the paths around the Devil's Hole ...July 23, 2018

If you want to climb the Koppen, you have to climb over slate rocks and you should be sure-footed and free from giddiness.
