Swolgen (locally pronounced as Zwollege) is a church village in the municipality of Horst aan de Maas, in the north of the Dutch province of Limburg. The village has over 1,290 inhabitants. Until 2010 it belonged to the former municipality of Meerlo-Wanssum and until 1969 to the former municipality of Meerlo.
Places of interest:
• Kasteeltje De Gun, a farm since 1860, on the Kasteelweg in the hamlet of Gun.
• The Sint-Lambertuskerk, with a 15th-century choir, largely rebuilt in 1952.
• The Mariakapel in the hamlet of Legert.
• The Mariakapel on the Donkstraat.
