Hike from Fort Vuren, via the Hondswaard a beautiful stretch through the floodplains. Then straight through Vuren, onto the klompenpad. Afterwards, we had some more refreshments at Fort Vuren, and took the back roads home to avoid the traffic jam.

Hike through the floodplains near Hellouw. Between showers, over small bridges and a boardwalk where sheep were walking. At the end there was a crossing to get into another meadow, at one point the sheep followed us. One sheep over the bridge and the rest follow, until they saw the cows...😄

Hike through the woods near Dorst, luckily lots of shade and beautiful winding paths. Many ponds, most of which were dry. The Galloway cattle had also sought shade on a beautiful path between two ponds. All in all, despite the heat, a beautiful hike.
