  • The parish church of Neuenkirchen was built under the patronage of the Eldena monastery. Worth mentioning are the gravestones of Jacobus Volquin (1378), Hermann von Wampen (1383) and Petrus Warschow (fragment, 1402). Remains of the medieval wall and vault painting with Low German minuscule inscriptions were uncovered during the renovation in 1968.   • The hall church dates from the 13th / 14th century. The church patronage of the parish church was in the Middle Ages at the monastery Eldena. With help from the Cistercians, the choir was built around 1280/1290. In the third quarter of the 14th century, it was extended to the west by the nave.
