There are a lot of old tombstones next to the hiking trail. Partly already with inscription. For example, the year of death of the deceased is noted on one stone as 1920. Another part of the tombstones is covered in moss. These interesting relics of the natural stone industry have been successively uncovered and cared for by the Fichtelgebirge Association since 2013. They are a valuable habitat for rare animal and plant species.
