There are five huge, ancient sequoias here. The largest is over 40 meters high.
The trees actually come from the Sierra Nevada in California, but seeds and plants were brought to Scotland by a shipload in 1853 and were given by Queen Victoria of England to the Prince of Hohenzollern, who resided in Trogen. Since sequoias became a status symbol of wealth in the late 19th century, many of them can be found next to parks, hospitals and villas.

Very nice and big trees in front of the cemetery entrance. The cemetery itself is beautiful and dignified.
