The history of the Kollund Forest, which hikers reach after crossing the small wooden bridge, is also interesting. You can get to the Kollunder Forest after crossing the small wooden bridge at the Schusterkate. The Kollunder Forest, although located on Danish territory, belonged to the city of Flensburg from 1883 to 2006, which sold it to a Danish private individual due to tight finances.
