Tips

The Sambatrasse is the little sister of the Nordbahntrasse and stands a bit in their shadow. Of course you do not have this event factor, but there are plenty of other reasons to use the samba terrace. The slope is also very good to handle - do not worry.

Drive through the zoo with a view of the tiger enclosure, great layout! The route leads from the zoo to Küllenhahn, a relaxed 1-2% gradient on gravel.

Very nice to ride a bike, versatile, way over the zoo, various stops and sights.

The Samba race is easy to drive in both directions and the route offers enough variety.

The Burgholzbahn, also called the Samba, was an eleven-kilometer, single-track railway line between Elberfeld and Cronenberg, both later districts of Wuppertal.
