Unfortunately, our hiking friends have fallen victim to a common misconception here. There's a persistent rumor that there's a Bornholmer Bridge in Berlin. It never existed, and it still doesn't. The bridge between Bornholmer Straße and Osloer Straße, which crosses the railway here, has been called Bösebrücke since 1948, previously Hindenburgbrücke. This is how it's registered on Komoot. The bridge got its current name from the communist resistance fighter Friedrich Wilhelm Böse.
